BOARD OF'APPEALS HEARINGS <br />' September 27, 1955 <br />A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's <br />Room, Town Office Building, on Tuesday, September 27: 1955• <br />At 8:00 p.m. hearings were declared open on the following <br />petitions: <br />Ralph J. Frissore - to maintain existing dwellings on Lots 2, 3, <br />4 and 5 numbered 445P., 447., 443, and 441 Bedford St. as per plot plans <br />submitted. <br />Mary D. Covello - to erect a single family dwelling on Lot Munroe <br />No. 1 located at 334b —Mass. Ave. which will not have the set back and side <br />yard as required under the Zoning By-law. <br />Carolyn Ingraham - to operate a pre-school class for ten children <br />five mornin ,9p a wee at 5 Downing Rd., using the game room in the base- <br />ment and the front room on the first floor. <br />Mrs. Richard J. Norris - to move a tool house from Lot #152 First <br />St. to Lot #66 on Second St. <br />' Warren E. Russell'- to use a portion of the building located at <br />1505 Mass. Ave. own as the Russell House, for the purpose of conducting <br />a Real Estate and insurance business. <br />At the close of the hearings an executive session was held during <br />which the following decisions were made: <br />Warren E. Russell - denied <br />Muriel C. Stone, Clerk <br />Ralph J. Frissore - granted <br />Mary D. Covello - granted <br />Carolyn Ingraham - granted, subject to the following conditions: <br />(1) that the petitioner fireproof the door from the game room to the <br />furnace room with fire resistant material and install aself-closing <br />device and manual lock on said door; also the petition separating the <br />game room from the furnace room is to be of fire resistant material; these <br />restrictions being satisfactory to the Building Inspector; (2) that the <br />petitioner install toilet facilities including at least one toilet and <br />one lavatory with proper ventilation and under conditions satisfactory <br />to the Plumbing Inspector, in or adjoining the game room. (3) that the <br />operation of the Nursery School be confined to the basement game room and <br />the front room on the first floor; (4) that an assistant shall be in <br />attendance at all times; (5) that this permit shall not become valid and <br />the Nursery School operated until the above conditions are complied with; <br />' <br />(6) that this Permit shall expire Sept. 7, 1956. <br />Mrs. Richard J. Norris - granted, under the following conditions: <br />(1) tha a bu ing s a not be used for dwelling purposes; (2) that <br />this Permit shall expire September 10, 1956. <br />Warren E. Russell - denied <br />Muriel C. Stone, Clerk <br />
