1 7'. <br />BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS <br />1 November 18, 1954 <br />A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's <br />Room, Town Office Building, Tuesday, November 18, 1954. <br />At 8:00 p.m. hearings were declared open upon the following <br />petitions: <br />George A. Knox Jr. and Joseph P. Spinelli et al to subdivide Lot 9 <br />located on Shade Street, into two separate parcels. <br />Shell Oil Co. and Everett LaFrance to enlarge the service station <br />and lnbritorium at 1095 Mass. Ave. in accordance with the plans submitted. <br />Viano Properties Inc. - to erect a one-story showroom addition to <br />the ex s ing building at Ibbb Mass. Ave., <br />Joseph F. McCormick - to erect a single family dwelling on Lot <br />156 numbered ona d St. which would have a side yard less than the <br />ten feet required. <br />F. C. Nelson - to erect a carport addition to existing dwelling <br />at 8 er me . which would have a 5 foot side yard instead of the <br />' 12 feet required. <br />Prince A. Newell - to erect a single family dwelling on Lot #30 <br />locate at Maple 9t. subject tothe following conditions: that the <br />house be set back from Maple St. approximately 200 ft. and that construc- <br />tion of the dwelling be started not later than June 1, 1955. <br />David W. Walsh Jr. - to erect a small attorney's sign on the prem- <br />ises at ld3 Woburn <br />Robert Wildes - to erect a single family dwelling on Lots 1 and 2 <br />located on Sullivan St. as shown on plan of Park Heights #5, Lexington, <br />Mass. <br />At the close of the hearings an executive session was held dur- <br />ing which the following decisions were reached: <br />George A. Knox Jr. and Joseph P. Spinelli - denied <br />Shell Oil Co. and Everett LaFrance - denied <br />Viano Properties, Inc - granted <br />Joseph F. McCormick - denied <br />F. C. Nelson - denied <br />Prince A. Newell - granted <br />David W. Walsh Jr. — denied <br />Robert W. Wildes - granted <br />Muriel C. Stone, Clerk <br />
