BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS <br />November 17, 1949 <br />A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's <br />Room, Town Office Building, on November 17, 1949. Chairman Locke, <br />Messrs. Ballard, Ripley, Lynah and Rich were present. The clerl was. <br />also present. <br />At 8:02 p.m. hearings were declared open upon the following <br />petitions: <br />Bettie D. Jellis for permission to use the vestry of the Follen <br />Community Church, 755 Massachusetts Avenue, for the purpose of conduit- <br />ing a kindergarten daily from 9:00 to 12:00 non. <br />Susan A. Spencer for permission to establish a funeral home at <br />52 Waltham Street, to be conducted by Louis H. Spencer. <br />F. K. Johnson for permission to build an addition 12' x 18' at <br />the rear of the present building located at 39-41 Bedford Street, tojbe <br />used as a paint shop. <br />Wilbur R. Fletcher for permission to erect a single-family* dw�ll- <br />ing and garage on Lot 148A Grant Street, said lot having a frontage Of <br />105.15 feet and an area of 10,940 sq.ft. <br />Hearing were declared closed at 9:00 p.m. and the following do- <br />cisionL.reached in executive session: <br />Bettie D.
