1 BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS <br />July 7, 1949 <br />A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's <br />Room in the Town Office Building, Lexington, Massachusetts on July <br />7, 1949• Chairman Locke, Messrs. Lynah, Ripley and Ballard were <br />present. The clerk was also present. <br />At 8:05 p.m. hearings were declared open on the following <br />petitions: <br />John F. Mayer for permission to erect a dwelling and garage on <br />Lots 17 and 18 in Block 22 Gleason Road, said lots having a combined <br />area of 6493 square feet and a total frontage of 60 feet on Gleason <br />Road. <br />Guy E. Reed, Jr„ and Marjorie S. Reed to erect a garage at ;2 <br />Berwick Road, 9-1/2 feet from the existing residence on the premiss <br />and 7-1/2 feet from the lot line, in accordance with the plot plan sub- <br />witted. <br />Warren E. Russell for permission to erect, at 15 Woburn Str$et, <br />a single-family dwelling and garage the construction of which would <br />' not conform with the requirements ofthe Lexington Building By-law,,in <br />accordance with plans submitted. <br />The hearing was declared closed at 8:35 p.m. <br />The applications were considered and the following decisions <br />rendered: <br />Warren E. Russell - granted <br />Guy and Marjorie Reed - granted <br />John F. Mayer - granted <br />Due to the absence of a fifth member of the Board, it was atreed <br />by the four members of the Board present at the meeting that the clerk <br />of the Board should submit the record of the hearing to a fifth mesber <br />for his review and his signature to the Permit Orders if his vote $hould <br />be in accord with that of the four other members. <br />The meeting was adjourned at 9:35 p.m. <br />Catherine Parello, Clerk <br />1 <br />95° <br />
