69 <br />BOARU OF APPEALS HEARINGS <br />' October 28, 1948 <br />A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's <br />Room, Town Office Building, on October 28, 1918. Chairman Locke, <br />Messrs. Lynah, Ripley, Duffy, and Ballard were present. The clerl4 <br />was also present. <br />At 8:00 p.m. the following petitions were heard: <br />Maxine J. Mowll for permission to conduct a kindergarten at <br />19 Oakland Street between the hours of 9:00 to 12:00 a.m. for a <br />period of one year. <br />George A. Selfridge for permission to erect dwellings on two <br />lots on Manning Street which are the subdivision of three lots shown <br />on plot plan submitted as Lots 36, 37, 38, the new lots having <br />frontage and area less than that required by the Lexington Zoning> <br />By-law. <br />First Parish Church, Harrington Road, for permission to make <br />a one-story addition of third class, instead of second class, con+ <br />struction. <br />' Donald Kourian for permission to operate a temporary sawmill <br />on the premises numbered 124 Grove Street. <br />Elenoir C. Hood for permission to teach piano at bl Reed <br />Street, Lexington <br />During executive session following the hearings the following <br />decisions were rendered: <br />Elenoir C. Hood - granted <br />Donald Kourian - granted <br />First Parish Church - granted <br />George Selfridge - granted <br />Maxine J.
