BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS <br />1 July 22, 1948 <br />A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's <br />Room, Town Office Building, on July 22, 1948- Chairman Locke, <br />Messrs. Redman, Rich, Duffy, and Hondlette were present. The <br />clerk was also present. <br />At 8:10 p.m. hearing was declared open upon the petitions of <br />the following: <br />William Neal for permission to use the building located at <br />16 Curve Street for storing and lettering tracks and carrying ona <br />sign business. <br />Milton C. Shaw for permission to erect, at 147 Grant Stree4, <br />a one -car garage which would not have the required setback or <br />side yard. <br />Shell Oil Co.for permission to erect one 48 -inch neon sign! <br />on a pole at 286 Lincoln Street, Lexington. <br />The hearings were declared closed at 8:47 p.m. and the fo14 <br />' lowing decisions reached in executive session: <br />William Neal - denied <br />Milton Shaw - denied <br />Shell Oil Co. - granted <br />The members of the Board expressed their regret at the pas$ing <br />of John Hilton Brown, member of the Board of Appeals. <br />The meting was adjourned at 9:35 p.m. <br />Catherine Parello, Clerk <br />1 <br />59 <br />
