27, <br />BOARu OF APPEALS HEARING <br />December 5, 1947 <br />A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's, <br />Room, Town Office Building, on December 5, 1947. Chairman Locke, <br />Messrs. Houdlette, Brown, Rich and Redman were present. The clerk <br />was also present. <br />At 8:03 p.m. the hearings were declared open. The following <br />petitions were heard: <br />C. Clifford Hanson for permission to conduct a retail antiquei <br />business on the premises located at 905 Massachusetts Avenue. <br />David A. Rix for permission to maintain a filling station for! <br />the storage and sale at retail of petroleum products, a lubricating <br />station and accessory uses at the southwest corner of Waltham Street <br />and Marrett Road. <br />Edward F. Chapin, V.F.W., for permission to erect on the prem- <br />ises located at No. 1 Hayes Lane, a building to be used as a home and <br />headquarters of Lexington Post #3007, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and <br />its Auxiliary. <br />' At the close of the hearing the following decisions were made; <br />C.Clifford Hanson - denied <br />David Rix - granted <br />Edward F. Chapin, V.F.W. - granted <br />Catherine Parello, Clerk <br />
