August 14, 1947 <br />A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's <br />Room, Town Office Building, on Thursday, August 14, 1947. Chairman <br />Locke, Messrs. Redman, Ballard, Brown and Ripley were present. The <br />clerk was also present. <br />At 8:05 p.m- the hearings were declared open: <br />Stephen Hotz for permission to erect and maintain a greenhouse <br />on his lot at 537 Lowell Street. <br />Florence P. Cleveland for permission to erect and maintain a <br />second story above the existing one-story portion of the building <br />located at 20 Waltham Street, Lexington. <br />Evelyn G. Mawhinney for permission to erect and maintain an <br />addition attached to the rear of the existing garage located at 581 <br />Marrett Road, Lexington. <br />After due consideration in executive session following the <br />hearings, the following decisions were reached: <br />' Stephen Hotz - granted <br />Florence P.
