9 <br />BOARD of APPEALS HEARING <br />I duly 31, 1947 <br />A meeting of the Hoard of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's <br />Room, Town Office Building, on Thursday, July 31, 1947. Chairman <br />Locke, Messrs. Redman, Ballard, Brown and Daffy were present. <br />Mr. Locke submitted the name of Catherine Parello to the <br />Board to be voted upon for appointment to the Board of Appeals. Upon <br />motion made by Mr. Redman, seconded by Mr. Brown, it was unanimously <br />voted to appoint Catherine Parello as Clerk of the Board of Appeals. <br />Miss Parello accepted the appointment.. <br />At 8:02 hearings were declared open and the following heard: <br />C. H. Erickson for R. F. Goggin, for permission to maintain <br />the present 8 -inch brick foundation around the existing building, <br />located at 1436 Massachusetts Avenue, in place of the 12 -inch founda- <br />tion as the buildingAaw requires. <br />Community Nursery School, Inc. for permission to erect on the <br />praxises owned by the Community Nursery School, Inc. on Massachusetts <br />Avenue, the erection of a building the construction of which will not <br />meet the requirements of the Lexington Building By-law. <br />a <br />y <br />After consideration in executive session the following deci- <br />sions were made: A«. <br />C.
