112 <br />The Chairman remarked that the application was merely <br />for the lubritorium, but what he really wanted was to move <br />his gasoline station, as well as the lubritorium, and Currier <br />said that that was correct. <br />Mr. Glynn asked if Mr. Currier operated the present <br />station and he replied 'in the affirmative. Mr, Glynn asked <br />if he owned the swings and a mmsements there, and Currier <br />said that he did own,them, but had sold them and they had all <br />been removed from the premises. Pyr. Glynn asked if he <br />intended to have anything like that now, and he replied in the <br />negative. Mr. Glynn asked if the clam house was coming down, <br />and he replied in the affirmative. <br />Mr. Glynn asked whose name the property was in, and Mr. <br />Munroe said that it was in his name. <br />No one else wished to be recorded in £ avor of the <br />granting of the petition. <br />No one appeared in opposition to the granting of the <br />permit. <br />The hearing was declared closed at 8:20 P. M. <br />At 8:20 P. 2v. hearing was declared open upon the applica- <br />tion of the Jenney Manufacturing Company for permission to <br />maintain a lubritorium at 319 Marrrett Road (at the corner of <br />Ifdaltham 5t.). <br />The notice of the hearing; was read by the Clerk Pro -tem. <br />Mr. 1,1elvin M. Page, representing the Jnnney i,`fg. Co., <br />appeared at the hearing, together with the operator of the <br />station and two of the neighbors. P,dr. Page said that his <br />company desired to improve the property by covering in its <br />present greasing facilities. He said that they wished to <br />build an addition to put the pit under cover, and they <br />thought it would be an improvement to the property in general. <br />The Chairman asked if he had any plans, and he replied <br />in the negative. The Chairman informed him that the Board <br />could not pass on the petition until it saw what the company <br />planned to do. Page said that the plans were not read7 as yet. <br />The Chairman explained what the Board wanted in the way of plans, <br />and informed the man that the procedure was the same as in an <br />application for permission to maintain a gasoline station. <br />1,1r. Glynn asked if the plans would be ready in two w eeks, <br />and Page replied in the affirmative. <br />The Chairman said that if the conpany desired to present <br />some plans, etc., the matter would be taken up in two weeks; <br />that is, April 8th. Page agreed to have the plans at that time, <br />and they all retired. <br />itir. Kimball moved that the Countryside, Inc. petition be <br />granted in the following form: <br />1 <br />1 <br />
