143
BOARD OF APPEALS MEETING
JULY 160P 1935.
A special meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in
the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building, at 7:00 P. M.
Messrs. Glynn, Kimball, and Robbins were present. The secre-
tary was also present. In the absence of Mr. Maddison, Mr.
Glynn acted as Chairman.
The meeting was called to take action upon an appeal re-
ceived from Mr. Nathan B. Bidwell in regard to a permit granted
by the Board of Health to Mr. A. M. Roberts of 38 Adams Street
to keep poultry. The apeal was endorsed by: Mr. Richard E.
Rowse, Mary H. Bidwell, F. Josephine Blodgett, Walter W. Rowse,
George E. Graves, Ernestine C. Snow, Sarah E. Goodwin, Clar-
ence H. Tinkham, and the Arlington Five Cents Savings Bank.
The appeal referred to a petition and exceptions filed before
a hearing on the permit, and requested that the order for grant-
ing the permit be revoked and the permit bancelled.
The Board of Appeals decided that it lacked jurisdiction
in the matter and consequently would make no arrangements for
a hearing, and voted to advise Mr. Bidwell to this effect.
Tt w&o voted to adjourn the meeting at 7:10 Ps M.
A true record, attest:
Clerk.
