The minutes were <br /> taken by Leora Tec. <br /> L Call to Order and Welcome (Tom Diaz) <br /> II. Public Comment <br /> Mary Ann Stewart (precinct 1): Attended forum on stress and youth. Stress reducing <br /> techniques in high school classes. <br /> Dawn McKenna: I saw four members of the School Committee in a meeting; this may be <br /> against the open meeting law. <br /> Tom Diaz: This was a duly posted Executive Session. <br /> III. Members' Reports /Members' Concerns <br /> Gabe Schonfeld: I attended Winterfest. I encourage you all to attend next year. <br /> IV. Discussion: <br /> FY09 Budget Discussion <br /> Peter Keegly (Follen Road): Full day K. <br /> Pamela Thaimes (North Hancock Street): Full day K. <br /> Lisa Hebert: METCO funding of full day K. <br /> Cindy Snell: Fees for full day K. <br /> Phyllis Neufeld (LEA President): Urged the Committee not to cut teachers. <br /> The Committee and several members of the public discussed the budget. <br /> SC Meeting 2/4/08 page# 1 <br />
