Town of Lexington – 2005 Annual Town Meeting <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />I trust that the collective results of our hard work on the FY2006 budget will <br />position Lexington well for the future. This budget is not perfect, and the <br />community will continue face several pressing financial questions in the <br />year’s to come. But we were able to avoid major cuts and in fact enhanced <br />rather than compromised our financial situation. <br /> <br />I want to close by thanking the staff (particularly John Ryan, who kept <br />coming back), the boards, the finance committees, and you in Town Meeting <br />for helping to make this budget a success.
