Lexington Community Center Program Advisory Committee <br /> Minutes of Meeting <br /> July 13,2017 <br /> A meeting of the Community Center Program Advisory Committee (CCPAC)was held on Thursday, <br /> July 13, at 7:00 p.m. at the Lexington Community Center, 39 Marrett Road, Lexington. <br /> Meeting Attendees: Members - Alessandro Alessandrini,Nancy Adler, Dan Palant, Archana Singhal,Nancy Shepard <br /> (Chair) <br /> Ex-Officio Member Attendees: Charlotte Rodgers (Director of Human Services), Christine Dean (Community <br /> Center Director) <br /> Unable to attend: John Zhu, Lisah Rhodes, Melissa Battite(Director of Recreation & Community Programs) <br /> The meeting was called to order at 7:05pm. <br /> 1. Minutes of June 22 2017 <br /> The minutes from the June 22nd meeting were reviewed and unanimously accepted. <br /> 2. Community Center Director Updates <br /> o Programs & Facilities <br /> The CC is busy with summer activities. <br /> Planning for fall programs is underway. <br /> There is a Community Resources Fair scheduled for January. <br /> Christine will confirm that we on the approved list for Community Service at LHS. <br /> Christine is working with Collette Worldwide Tours to offer a tour for next spring. We discussed ideas <br /> and concerns for offering trips. <br /> 3. Building Information and Rental Fee Proposal <br /> Christine reviewed what was presented to the BOS for the Priority of Use for the CC in September, 2016. <br /> Based on our discussion at the last meeting, she presented proposed guidelines for Priority of Use. She will <br /> be forwarding the final updates based on the suggestions we made. <br /> There was motion to approve the Priority of Use guidelines with the proposed revisions. This was <br /> unanimously approved. Christine will present the guidelines at the Recreation Committee meeting on <br /> Wednesday, July 19. <br /> 4. Liaison Reports <br /> Sue Rockwell will be the liaison to the CCPAC from the Historical Society. Nancy talked to her this week <br /> and sent her information about the committee along with the schedule for meetings and copies of the minutes <br /> from our meetings so far. Nancy will reach out to the Town Manager's office to work on who will be the <br /> liaison from the BOS. <br /> Sandro said there will be a summit meeting on August 2nd to discuss the plans for the LCP. Plans for the CC <br /> may also be discussed. Some members of the CCPAC will try to attend. <br /> Next Meeting: August 10 at 7pm <br /> Meeting Adjourned at 8:55. <br />
