<br /> 2 <br />4. Affordable Deed Restriction Prototype Project. The Housing Partnership <br />submitted this request for $200,000 to buy down the sales price of one <br />home and test the feasibility of this mechanism for increasing the <br />affordable housing stock in Lexington. A motion to move the proposal <br />forward to Town Meeting was defeated by a 3-6 vote, with Manz, Shaw, <br />and Weiss voting in the affirmative. Those voting against going forward at <br />this time felt it was premature to move ahead given that the <br />implementation and administration procedures were yet to be fully worked <br />out and hence were not well understood. <br /> <br />The next meeting of the committee is scheduled for 18 January 2007 @ 4 PM. <br /> <br />The meeting was adjourned at 6:15 PM. <br />
