95 <br /> TOWN CELEBRATIONS COMMITTEE <br /> August 29, 1957 <br /> The third meeting of the Town Celebrations <br /> Committee was held in the Conference Room, Cary <br /> Memorial Building August 29, 1957 Present were <br /> Mesdames Cheever and Pullen and Messrs Cole, APRIL 19th <br /> Lewis, Hutchins and Rooney Mr. Len Foster and <br /> Bud Viano have been appointed by the Lexington YANKEE <br /> Chamber of Commerce as members of the Town Celebra- HOMECOMING <br /> tions Committee ex-officio, announced Mr Foster <br /> who was present at this meeting Mr Foster also <br /> reported that the Board of Directors of the Chamber- <br /> of Commerce have decided to assume sponsorship of a <br /> Yankee Breakfast to be held after the early morning <br /> parade on April 19th at the Center Playground Dis- <br /> cussion centered about plans for April 19th and how <br /> Mr Frost' s ideas might merge with ours It was <br /> the consensus of opinion that Lexington plan its <br /> traditional day, and per Mr Frost' s suggestion, <br /> send him our tentative time schedule for the day' s <br /> activities, requesting that he return to Lexington <br /> for our consideration, any ideas hi might have as <br /> to how and where "Yankee Homecoming" items may fit <br /> into our program A generalized time schedule of <br /> probable activities was drawn up and taken by Mr <br /> Rooney to be typed <br /> Doris Pullen, <br /> Secretary Pro Tem <br /> — ,I <br />
