61 <br /> TOWN CELEBRATIONS COMMITTEE <br /> November 8, 1956 <br /> The sixth meeting of the Town Celebrations <br /> Committee was held in the conference room, Cary <br /> Memorial Hall at 8 00 p.m , November 8, 1956 The <br /> following members were present Messrs Alberti e, <br /> Hutchins, Gustin, Rooney, Gagne, Lewis, and Mrs <br /> Litchfield <br /> Secretary' s report was read and approved <br /> The following bills were approved for pay- <br /> ment <br /> Lexington Secretarial Service $5 00 <br /> Somerville Machine & Foundry 16 00 <br /> Lexington Nurseries ( dogwood) 10 00 <br /> Mr Paul Poehler was appointed chairman of <br /> U N Day, 1957 <br /> A letter from Mr Delcevare King of Quincy, <br /> Mass was read Mr King enclosed $1 00 and re- <br /> quested ten "Bill of Rights" bills It was voted <br /> to return the money, and send him the ten bills <br /> Mr Lewis suggested that the committee notify <br /> all units after the first of the year that there will <br /> be no parade due to April 19th falling on Good Friday <br /> Mr Gustin is to obtain actual expenditures of <br /> 1956 Town Celebrations Committee from the town <br /> accountant prior to next meeting <br /> Eleanor Litchfield, <br /> Secretary <br /> { <br />
