43 TOWN CELEBRATIONS COMMITTEE April 3, 1956 A special meeting of the Town Celebrations Committee was held on the evening of April 3 for one hour ( 7 30 - 8 30) in the American Legion Room APRIL 19th Those who were unable to attend were LaPorte, Gilles- pie, and Cheever Mr Lewis explained that Mrs. Rogers had asked a General Thomas D. ( not Williams) to be our guest of honor April 19 He read the letter he had typed and sent airmail to General White. Visitors to the meeting were Major Krogh and Lieutenant Graves of Bedford Air Base Mrs Williams was asked to write invitations to Commander Maude of Cambridge Research. Center, Col.
