Thy i aa.ade- <br /> FE ORTAL DAY MAY 29 1972 <br /> Neil Cronin will procure a copy of Gene- al Logan's Order, Ot The Day to be <br /> read at the service in the Mur-aro, Cemetery <br /> Rev Gaudette will be one of the clergy taking part in Memorial Day services <br /> along with Rev Handley <br /> Mrs Litchfield will call Carlson's Florist Shop and ask that they provide a <br /> wreathe stand along with the wreathes She will order the wreathes after <br /> hearing tram Messrs Barnes and Gaughan, who in ,ural, will contact the V.F W., <br /> and American Legion for definite numbers of wreathes needed to attend all <br /> graves This should prevent any over.- ordering. <br /> The Committee went over the parade roster and parade route with the Chief <br /> Marshal. <br /> The Committee discussed Mr Ellis' request asking that the Vietnam Veterans <br /> Against The Wag participate in our Memorial Day activities The Committee <br /> doe© not invite people outside IMINGTON to join our parade, as a general <br /> rule, as it is a small parade for townfolkzs only <br /> Also, tr John Cary who is running for Brad Morse's seat in the House of <br /> Representatives ,rants to march in our parade, and Mr. Barnes will inform him <br /> that because this is a small parade with no eoU tical overtones, the parade <br /> personnel would be restricted basically to townfalks only <br /> The Committee discussed at length alternate parade routes for the 1975 parade <br /> and other pertinent matkers <br /> The Committee feels it needs a clear picture of wiat its responsibilities are <br /> for Patriots Day 1975, with dut±as outlined in writing from which our CoRittee <br /> can work IM.
