TAC MEETING 3/11/24 <br /> <br />The meetfng was held on Monday, instead of the usual Tuesday, <br />because there is a TMMA meetfng scheduled for March 12. <br /> <br />Present: Ms Verma, Chair; Mr. Schwarz; Mr. Botla; Ms <br />Castleman <br />Absent: Ms Lyons, Co-Chair; Mr. Andersen; Mr. Veeragandham; <br />as well as Ms Barrett, Transportatfon Manager <br /> <br />Also present: Mr. Sudhir, COA Liaison; and Mr. Fairbairn, LHS <br />Liaison <br />Absent: Ms Thompson, Planning Board Liaison; and Ms Hai, <br />Select Board Liaison <br /> <br />Ms Verma called the meetfng to order at 7:08 and read the <br />order that allows public town meetfngs to be held via Zoom. <br />There were no minutes ready for approval from January or <br />February. <br />The main reason for the meetfng was to approve the final Artfcle <br />41 presentatfon for Town Meetfng and to determine who would <br />present it. <br />Ms Castleman suggested a few edits and pointed out a few <br />typos. <br />Then the motfon was made and seconded for Kunal Botla to <br />present Artfcle 41 to Town Meetfng on behalf of TAC. All 4 <br />members present voted in the affirmatfve. The Artfcle is <br />scheduled for March 18, but behind many other artfcles so may <br />not really come up untfl Wed, 20th, or even thereafter. <br />Ms Verma suggested that TAC put off talking about protocols for <br />determining the membership and responsibilitfes of TAC untfl <br />after Town Meetfng. <br />Mr. Jain gave a COA report that they are meetfng with <br />Brookhaven, then with other senior groups, to inquire about <br />needs, to get feedback, and answer questfons. COA is also <br />applying to AARP for Age-Friendly designatfon. <br />Mr. Fairbairn reported, as LHS Liaison, that student representatfves have had <br />opportunitfes to speak with the architects of the new LHS building and that Mr. <br />Veeragandham was communicatfng about transportatfon and ways to make sure <br />students have desirable ways to get to school.
