Tri-Ton Coalition Advisory Board
Burlington.Lexington.Wilmington
• Burlington has STB kits to give to each participant.
• Joanne advised that Lexington is doing a STB training, CPR or narcan training the week
of April 4th. She will have Kellianne reach out to Rashod to check his availability to help
out.
• Susan advised that Rashod will be holding a sun safety and ticks training with the Girl
Scouts. He will also be involved with the Burlington vaccination clinic in May.
• Shelly will have Tahycha do some of the beach inspections in Wilmington. She will take
her with her on June 3rd and June 10th.
• Shelly said Katy did an excellent report for the Substance Abuse Coalition summarizing
the 120 responses received as part of the parent survey.
• Joanne said that the Lexington Board of Health would like to conduct an overall health
assessment in the town similar to what Wilmington did. Joanne thought that North
Andover Shared Services had conducted a community health assessment using PHE
funds. Katie advised that the PHE does not allow for the spending of funds on
community health assessments however she will follow up with North Andover to see if
they were allowed to use PHE funds.
• Joanne is still waiting on the invoices for the podium rental and AV equipment rental for
the showing of Below the Belt for public health week. Susan commented that Burlington
could potentially do a second screening of the film.
• Katy sent out the first Tri-Ton newsletter. All three towns’ Board of Health members
received a copy of it.
• Mental Health First Aid will take place in Burlington on April 23rd. Please sign up if you
are interested by sending an email to Katie.

V. Tobacco Funding
• Joanne advised that Tahycha was introduced at the Lexington Board of Health meeting.
During the meeting, the chair of the board questioned some of the data that was
presented regarding the Tobacco grant on the methodology that Katy used. Joanne will
email Katy when she is back in the office on 4/2/24 to see if Katy can provide a more in-
depth description of her methodology for Wendy, the Chair of the Board, to look at.
• Tahycha needs to finish Lexington and Wilmington retail inspections by the end of June.
• Shelly will send Tahycha the Wilmington regulations including establishments, permits,
and regulations.
• Joanne will give Tahycha both the state and local regulations for inspections.

VI. New Business
• The April meeting will be changed from April 17th to April 22nd.

Meeting adjourned at 3:00 PM.
