HomeMy WebLinkAboutLexHAB Ad Hoc Review Committee CHARGE LexHAB Ad-Hoc Review Committee The LexHAB Ad Hoc Review Committee is charged to act as specifically prescribed in this charge. The purpose of this Committee is to examine Town Meeting resolutions from 1979, 1981 and 1987 as they relate to the development of low, moderate and middle income housing in Lexington and to review all relevant reports on affordable housing including but not limited to the Report of the Selectmen's Housing Needs Advisory Committee. These documents, the policies they establish, and those that LexHAB has followed, should be reviewed with an eye to the current situation and to the immediate future. The Committee should work closely with LexHAB in examining and analyzing its processes relating to public notification and input int he development and implementation of scattered site affordable housing in Lexington. The Committee should report back to the Selectmen by January 15, 1996 with recommendations, if any, regarding: 1. The Town's future affordable housing goals and sites; 2. The Town's future affordable housing focus; and 3. LexHAB's future public notification and public participation procedures relating to the scattered site affordable housing program. The LexHAB Ad-Hoc Review Committee shall consist of six members and its term shall expire upon presentation of its report to the Board of Selectmen by January 15, 1996. September 11, 1995
