71-165 <br />Selectmen’s Meeting – May 1, 2017 <br />Approve and Sign Brookhaven Memorandum of Agreement <br />Mr. Valente stated that at the Selectmen's meeting on April 24, the Board and Brookhaven <br />approved the Memorandum of Agreement negotiated as part of Article 44 of the 2017 Annual <br />Town Meeting. With Town Meeting's approval of this Article, this agreement can now be signed <br />by the Selectmen. <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, the Board of Selectmen voted 4-0 to approve and sign the <br />Memorandum of Agreement between the Town of Lexington and Symmes Lifecare Inc. d/b/a <br />Brookhaven at Lexington. <br />Appoint to Permanent Building Committee User Representative for 20 Pelham Road Project <br />Mr. Valente stated the Selectmen are asked to appoint a member to the Permanent Building <br />Committee for the 20 Pelham Road project and noted that Hank Manz has been suggested for this <br />appointment. Mr. Valente noted the School Committee will also be appointing a member to this <br />committee. <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, the Board of Selectmen voted 4-0 to appoint Hank Manz <br />to the Permanent Building Committee as the Selectmen's user agency representative for the <br />Community space portion of the 20 Pelham Road project. <br />Town Manager Appointments & Re-appointments <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, the Board of Selectmen voted 4-0 to approve Town <br />Manager's re-appointments of David Langseth to the Conservation Commission for a term to <br />expire March 2020; Richard Wolk to the Conservation Commission for a term to expire March <br />2020; Richard McDonough to the Council on Aging for a term to expire May 2020; David <br />Kelland to the Historical Commission for a term to expire March 2020; Ruixi Yuan to the <br />Recreation Committee for a term to expire May 2020; and Shannon DeGuglielmo to the Youth <br />Commission for a term to expire April 2020. <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, the Board of Selectmen voted 4-0 to approve Town <br />Manager's appointments of Ruth Ladd to the Conservation Commission for a term to expire March <br />2018; Diane Pursley to the Historical Commission for a term to expire March 2020; <br />Board of Selectmen Appointments & Re-appointments <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, the Board of Selectmen voted 4-0 to reappoint Gerald <br />Howell, William Kennedy, Donna Leary and Lester Savage to the Lexington Housing Assistance <br />Board for a three year term to expire on May 31, 2020. <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, the Board of Selectmen voted 4-0 to reappoint Gordon <br />Jones to the Board of Registrars for a three year term to expire on March 31, 2020. <br /> <br />
