Claire Feingold Thoryn; Alan <br />Wrigley; Dana Bickelman, Director of Human Services; Sharon Gunda, Clinical and Community <br />Outreach Manager, David Williams, Trustee of the Public Trusts <br />Mr. Lucente stated the remote participation meeting is being held remotely as posted with the agenda. <br />1) Money Available <br />State Street Account as of December 31, 2023 <br /> Ending Principal balance: $297,597.56 <br /> Ending Income balance: $23.079.41 <br /> Total Balance as of 12/31/02023 $320,676.97 <br /> <br />2023 Fund for Lexington Annual Appeal Donations <br />Approximately $23,000 received to date, of which $5,000 was received via <br />online donation <br /> <br />2) Human Services <br /> <br />Welcome Dana Bickelman, Director of Human Services <br />Mr. Lucente welcomed Dana Bickelman, the new Director of Human Services. <br /> <br />Human Services Report for the period of <br />Ms. Bickelman reported the following activity for the Human Services funds dispersed for the period: <br /> Fund for Lexington <br />o $993.22 out of the Heating Assistance Program for one family (Remaining balance - <br />$24,006.78) <br /> Human Services Emergency Fund (non-COVID related) $4,982.35 for rent assistance <br /> Human Services Gift Fund (non-COVID related) $3,040.33 rent, washer/dryer, utility bills for 3 <br />families <br /> Gift Cards - Wegman’s Gift Card Program 317 disbursed <br /> Covid-19 Financial Assistance (Takeda and FFL Contributions) <br />o Disbursed $2,223.78 for COVID-19 related assistance, J. Malloy approved transferring <br />$25,000 from Takeda Balance for post-COVID needs funding. <br /> Remaining Takeda Balance: $8,938.04 <br /> FFL Balance: $25,000 <br />Ms. Gunda reported Human Services Department signed a partnership the Mass Coalition for the <br />Homeless. Ms. Gunda explained the program assists those experiencing homelessness or those at risk of <br />homelessness. <br /> <br />3) Approval of September 11, 2023 Meeting Minutes <br />On a motion duly made and seconded, by roll call, the Fund for Lexington Board voted 5-0, 1 <br />abstention(Mr. Pato) to approve the September 11, 2023 Meeting Minutes. <br /> <br /> <br />4) Proposed Meeting dates <br />The Board set March 25, 2024, June 10, 2024 and September 9, 2024 as the upcoming Fund for <br />Lexington Board meeting dates. <br /> <br />
