ANNUAL REPORT. <br />THE Overseers and Surveyors, in submitting this, their <br />Annual Report, have deviated from the course adopted by <br />former Boards, as the circumstances varied their duties, and <br />were incidental to the year. <br />REPORT OF THE OVERSEERS OF THE POOR. <br />Immediately after having sworn to perform the duties of Overseers <br />of the Poor for the year ensuing, we were urgently called upon, by <br />anxious creditors, for the several amounts due them from our pre- <br />decessors in office. The following list of bills are a part of their <br />expenditures. <br />Paid Town of Dorchester, for aid furnished Artemas Cut- <br />ter and family, . . . . <br />Damon & Blinn, for coal furnished the Alms -house, <br />" Franklin V.
