Tourism Committee
Notes
October 24, 2023
The Tourism Committee was called to order by Margaret Coppe, Chair, at 3:30 PM by Zoom.
A quorum was not present.
Members present: Marsha Baker, Margaret Coppe, Elsie Xu
Members absent: Kerry Brandin, Bebe Fallick, Gardy Desroulaaux, Melissa Robbins
Select Board Liaison present: Doug Lucente
Center Committee Liaison: Fred Johnson
Economic Development Coordinator present: Lorraine Welsh
Economic Development Director present: Sandhya Iyer
Visitor Center Manager absent: Ariel Chin
Since there was not a quorum present, those present held brief discussions on the following
items:
1. Minutes
Minutes from late 2022 through 2023 are not filed with the Town Clerk. The chair
looked for them and could not find them. Marsha Baker volunteered to look through the
Historical Society’s computer that was used by the previous chair for recordings.
2. Web Site
Updates needed. Margaret Coppe will work with the Economic Development
Coordinator and Director on updates.
3. Doug Lucente announced the details of the Town Charette on the Lexington Center
Workshop, The Journey Forward, November 17 and 18. He urged the members of the
Tourism Committee to attend and to distribute the information to other groups in town.
The next meeting of the Tourism Committee will be
