Ferguson moves to take up Ar- <br />ticle 46, Roger D. Long offering the following: <br />Voted that the town authorize the town meeting mem- <br />bers from each precinct to select from their number <br />three members to serve on a General Executive Com- <br />mittee of Town Meeting Members and appropriate sev- <br />enty-five dollars ($75) to meet the expenses of this com- <br />mittee. <br />The duties of this committee shall be to collect and re- <br />cord pertinent information about town affairs and to <br />report this information to town meeting members <br />in precinct meetings. Members of this committee must <br />be town meeting members in good standing, and shall <br />serve for one year from the time of their election at the <br />next precinct meetings, or until their successors are <br />appointed. <br />Carried 10:31 P. Ferguson moves to take up Ar- <br />ticle 47, offering the following: <br />136 TOWN OP LEXINGTON <br />TOWN WARRANT <br />Commonwealth of Massachusetts Middlesex, ss. <br />To either of the Constables of the Town of Lexington, <br />in said County : Greeting : <br />In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, <br />you are directed to notify the inhabitants of the Town of <br />Lexington, qualified to vote in elections and in town affairs, <br />to meet in the Cary Memorial Building, in said Lexington, <br />on Monday, the 27th day of September, 1937, at eight <br />o'clock P. M., then and there to act on the following articles : <br />Article 1. To receive the reports of any Board of Town <br />Officers or of any Committee of the Town and to appoint <br />other Committees. <br />Article 2. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and <br />transfer money from available funds for engineering work <br />in connection with obtaining bids and preparing speci- <br />fications and construction drawings for Vine Brook Drain- <br />age. <br />Article 3. To see if the Town will authorize the Selectmen <br />to execute and deliver a release of its easement to use for <br />the purpose of Vine Brook improvement the property of <br />the Arlington Five Cents Savings Bank adjoining the site <br />of the Town Office Building in exchange for a grant of full <br />title to a strip of definite width adjoining Vine Brook as <br />shown on a plan by John T.
