REPORT OF TOWN CLERK 107 <br />Voted: That the Town determines under the authority <br />of Statute 1936, Chapter 403, that all its employees ex- <br />cept members of the Fire and Police forces, shall be in- <br />cluded in the terms "laborers, workmen and mechanics" <br />for the purposes of Workmen's Compensation. <br />Carried Unanimous 10 :10 P. M. <br />Selectman Ferguson moves to take up Insurance under <br />Article 6, stating he would present a figure of $8,700.00 <br />which would cover all Insurance items in blanket form. <br />Amendment by A. Edward Rowse, Appropriation Com- <br />mittee, to read $7,761.00 for Insurance of which $4,449.00 <br />for Workmen's Compensation and Public Liability, balance <br />to cover Fire, Sprinkler, Boiler and Hold -Up Insurance. <br />Amendment declared lost 10 :25 P. M. <br />Motion presented for Insurance — $8700.00 <br />to cover Workmen's Compensation, Public Liability, <br />Fire, Sprikler, Boiler, Hold -Up and Auto Insurance. <br />Carried Unanimous 10 :25 P. M. <br />Selectman Ferguson moves to take up Article 34. <br />Mr. Neil H. Borden presents the following vote. <br />Voted upon in two parts. <br />VOTE FOR ARTICLE 34 <br />Voted :—To amend the Lexington Zoning By -Law as <br />follows : <br />By removing from Section 3, C.1 Districts, the follow- <br />ing paragraph:— <br />"Beginning at a point 200 feet easterly of the junction <br />of the easterly line of Blossom Street with the southerly <br />line of the new Concord Highway, thence easterly along <br />108 TOWN OF LEXINGTON <br />the southerly line of the Concord Highway 200 feet, and of <br />a depth of 100 feet throughout." <br />And by adding the following to Section 3, after para- <br />graph 10 under "R.2 Districts" and preceding the heading <br />"C.1. Districts" :— <br />T.1 Districts <br />1.
