To see if the Town will authorize the Board <br />of Selectmen to grant the Lexington Post, Veterans of <br />Foreign Wars, the use of the auditorium in the Cary Me- <br />morial Building without charge on six evenings each year, <br />also the use of Estabrook Hall in said building without. <br />charge, for the regular meetings of the Veterans of For- <br />eign <br />oreign Wars, or act in any manner in relation thereto. <br />Article 29. To see if the Town will vote to accept the <br />provisions of law relative to the compensation of municipal <br />employees who are injured in the course of their employment. <br />under authority of Chapter 260 of the Acts of 1936, as <br />amended by Chapter 403 of the Acts of 1936, and to see if <br />24 TOWN OF LEXINGTON <br />the Town will vote to determine the employees for whom <br />compensation insurance shall be provided. <br />Article 30. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate <br />money to pay any unpaid bills for prior years of the various <br />town departments. <br />Article 31. To see if the Town will vote to establish as <br />a town way or accept the layout of as a town way, Tower <br />Road, from the present end of acceptance a distance of ap- <br />proximately 80 feet southeasterly, as laid out by the Select- <br />men and shown upon a certain plan on file in the office of <br />the Town Clerk, dated February 10, 1936. <br />Article 32. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate <br />the sum of $125.00 for the purchase of a Map for the use <br />of the Town Meeting Members, or take any other action in <br />relation thereto. <br />Article 33. To see if the Town will vote to amend the <br />Lexington Zoning By -Law and Map as follows:— <br />To substitute for the Amendment to the Zoning Law <br />adopted by the Town at the Town Meeting Novem- <br />ber 7, 1930, which reads, "Voted:—That the town <br />amend the Lexington Zoning By -Law and map by <br />changing from an R. 1 district to a C. 1 district the <br />plot of land owned by Ethel W. Bean and located on <br />the easterly side of Bedford Street, northwest of prop- <br />erty of said name at 241 Bedford Street, said plot <br />extending easterly two hundred (200) feet; thence <br />turning and running in a northerly direction three <br />hundred (300) feet; thence turning and running <br />southwesterly two hundred fifty (250) feet to Bed- <br />ford Street; thence turning and running southeast- <br />erly along Bedford Street two hundred forty-seven <br />(247) feet to the point of beginning and comprising <br />one and three eighths (1%) acres of land more or <br />less." <br />The following paragraph to be placed in Section 3, un- <br />der the heading "In C.1 Districts :—" <br />22.
