RUCKER. <br />FIRST ADJOURNED TOWN MEETING OF THE <br />ANNUAL TOWN MEETING <br />Held March 16, 1936 <br />The meeting was called to order by the Moderator. <br />Robert H. Holt at 8:07 P. M. <br />There were 188 Town Meeting Members present. <br />Town Clerk, James J. Carroll read the Town Warrant <br />until by a unanimous vote further reading was waived. <br />The Town Clerk read the Constables return of the <br />Warrant. <br />Selectman Charles Ferguson moved to take up Article <br />2. <br />Article 2. Voted: That a committee of three, of <br />which the Moderator shall be a member, be appointed to <br />have charge of the Cary Lectures for the coming season. <br />Unanimous 8:09 P. M. <br />Under Article 2 Mr. Rowse, Chairman of Appropria- <br />tion Committee presented the Appropriation Committee re- <br />port for the year 1936. <br />REPORT OF APPROPRIATION COMMITTEE <br />FOR THE YEAR 1936 <br />Bring this report with you to the Annual Meeting, <br />Monday, March 16, at 8:00 P. M. <br />In accordance with Section 4, Article 13, of the Re- <br />vised By -Laws of the Town, the Appropriation Committee <br />submits the following report to the voters of the town. <br />Since the March Town Meeting of 1935 the Appropria- <br />tion Committee has met monthly for consideration and <br />check-up on the operation of the Town's business. There <br />have been a total of 22 meetings held over the period of the <br />past 12 months. The Committee expects to continue hold- <br />ing monthly meetings. It is planned to split the Appropri- <br />ation Committee into sub -committees of three members <br />each to make a detailed check-up of expenditures during <br />the coming twelve months. <br />
