REPORT OF TOWN CLERK 83 <br />TOWN WARRANT <br />Co IIIIONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS MIDDLESEX, SS. <br />To either of the Constables of the Town of Lexington, in said <br />County, Greeting: <br />In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you <br />are directed to notify the inhabitants of the Town of Lexington, <br />qualified to vote in elections and in town affairs, to meet in the <br />Cary :Memorial Building, in said Lexington, on <br />MONDAY, the TWENTY-NTNTH 1)A.Y of APRIL, 1935 <br />at 8:00 P. if... then and there to act on the following articles: <br />Article 1. To see what action the Town will take to inves- <br />tigate any or all of the acts of the present or former Board of <br />Selectmen, also the acts of their agents and appointees, or any <br />committee of the town, and to appoint a Committee of three by <br />vote of the meeting, to make said investigation, or act in any <br />manner in relation thereto. <br />Article 2. To see what action the Town will take upon the <br />recent failure of the Board of Selectmen to reappoint the form- <br />er Superintendent of Public Works, and the a.ppoininient of <br />his successor. <br />Article 3. To see what action the Town will take upon re- <br />cent failure of the Board of Selectmen to reappoint the Clerk <br />of the Board of Selectmen. <br />Article 4. To see what action the Town will take on the re- <br />instatement of the former Superintendent of Public Works. <br />Article 5. To see what action the Town will take on the re- <br />instatement of the former Clerk of the Board of Selectmen. <br />Article 6. To see what action the Town will take to cause <br />the removal of the present Superintendent of Public Works, <br />and the appointment of his predecessor. <br />84 TOWN OF LEXINGTON <br />Article 7. To see what action the Town will take in rescind- <br />ing the vote of the Town passed at the Annual Town Meeting, <br />March 18, 1935 under Article 7, appropriating money for the <br />department of the Superintendent of Public Works. <br />Article 8. To see what action the Town will take to ap- <br />propriate money for the Department of Superintendent of Pub- <br />lic Works. <br />And you are directed to serve this Warrant seven days at <br />least before the time of said meeting as provided in the By - <br />Laws of the Town. <br />Hereof, fail not, and make due return on this Warrant, <br />with your doings thereon, to the Town Clerk, on or before the <br />time of said meeting. <br />Given under our hands, at Lexington, this sixteenth day <br />of April, A.
