ANNUAL REPORTS <br />TOWN WARRANT <br />43 <br />COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS MIDDLESEX, SS. <br />To either of the Constables of the Town of Lexington, in ssaid <br />County, <br />In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you <br />are directed to notify the inhabitants of the Town of Lex- <br />ington, qualified to vote in elections and in town affairs, to <br />meet in the <br />Cary Memorial Building, in said Lexington, on <br />MONDAY, THE THIRD DAY OF APRIL, 1933 <br />at 8:00 o'clock P. M., then and there to act on the following <br />articles: <br />.Art. 1. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the <br />Selectmen to install sewers in the following streets: <br />Bedford Street, from Shirley Street northerly a distance <br />of approximately 120 feet ; <br />Summit Road, from the present end southerly a distance <br />of approximately 460 feet; <br />Eustis Street, from the present end a distance of approxi- <br />mately 115 feet ; <br />and appropriate money for said sewer construction by direct <br />appropriation, or by transfer from other accounts. <br />Art. 2. To see if the Town will vote to install a trunk line <br />sewer beginning at the Arlington -Lexington Line near Mill <br />Brook and extending to Bow Street a distance of appr <br />mately 1150 feet, and appropriate money for said sewer con- <br />struction by direct appropriation or by transfer from other <br />accounts. <br />44 TOWN OF LEXINGTON <br />Art. 3. To see if the Town will vote to install water mains <br />in the following streets, subject to the usual guarantee or <br />the assessment of betterments: <br />Allen Street, from the present end in Blossom Street a <br />distance of approximately 1400 feet; <br />Outlook Drive, from Wachusetts Drive easterly a dis- <br />tance of approximately 100 feet; <br />Harbell Street, from the present end southerly a distance <br />of approximately 190 feet; <br />Colony Road, from the present end northeasterly a dis- <br />tance of approximately 100 feet; <br />Simonds Road, from the present end easterly a distance <br />of approximately 350 feet; <br />and to provide funds for said installation by transfer from <br />the Water Department Available Surplus to the Water De- <br />partment Construction Account. <br />Art. 4. To see if the Town will vote to install water <br />mains in Tewksbury Street from Bedford Street to Sargent <br />Street and in Sargent Street from Tewksbury Street to Shir- <br />ley Street a distance of approximately 550 feet, and to pro- <br />vide funds for said installation by transfer from 'the Water <br />Department Available Surplus to the Water Department <br />Construction Account. <br />Art. 5. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate funds <br />for labor and material on public works to be expended by the <br />Selectmen for the aid of unemployed citizens of the Town. <br />Art. 6. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate suf- <br />ficient funds to complete the sewer construction in Tewks- <br />bury, Sargent and Shirley Streets, authorized by vote of the <br />Town Meeting, October 31, 1932. <br />Art. 7. To see if the Town will vote to release all Town <br />Employees from any obligation to contribute 10 per cent of <br />their salaries to the Unemployment Relief Fund at such time <br />as salary reductions voted by this meeting become effective. <br />And you are directed to serve this Warrant seven days <br />at least before the time of said meeting as provided in the <br />By-laws of the Town. <br />
