<br />Art. 22. To see if . the Town will
<br />vote to appropriate and assess an
<br />amount of money to be used as a
<br />Reserve Fund, as provided by Chap-
<br />ter 645, Acts of 1913, or take any ac-
<br />tion relating thereto.
<br />Art. 23. To see if the Town will
<br />make an appropriation for the salary
<br />and expenses of the Milk Inspector,
<br />or act in any manner relating thereto.
<br />Art. 24. To see if the Town will
<br />make an appropriation for the salary
<br />of the Plumbing Inspector, or act
<br />in any manner relative thereto.
<br />Art. 25. To see if the Town will
<br />make an appropriation for the salaries
<br />of the Inspectors of Slaughtering, or
<br />act in any manner relating thereto.
<br />Art. 26. To see if the Town will
<br />appropriate funds for the payment of
<br />pensions to retired members of the
<br />Police and Fire Departments under
<br />Chap. 327, Acts of 1904, or act in
<br />any manner relating thereto.
<br />Art. 27. To see if the Town will
<br />authorize their Treasurer, under the
<br />direction of the Selectmen, to borrow
<br />money for any necessary purposes, in
<br />anticipation of revenue for the cur-
<br />rent year, the same to be repaid direct-
<br />ly from the proceeds of said revenue,
<br />or act in any manner relative thereto.
<br />Art. 28. To see if the Town will
<br />make an appropriation for the cele-
<br />bration of April 19, or act in any
<br />manner relative thereto.
<br />Art. 29. To see if the Town will
<br />make an appropriation to provide
<br />11
<br />suitable street signs for the Town,
<br />or act in any manner relative thereto.
<br />Art. 30. To provide for the general
<br />care of the Cemeteries of the Town and
<br />grant money for the same.
<br />Art. 31. To see if the Town will
<br />make an appropriation to continue
<br />the work at the Cemetery at North
<br />Lexington, or take any action relative
<br />thereto.
<br />Art. 32. To see if the Town will
<br />vote to raise and appropriate the sum
<br />of 5250 or some other amount, and
<br />elect a director for demonstration
<br />work in agricultural and home econ-
<br />omics, the money to be expended
<br />by, and the director to serve in co-
<br />operation with, the County Trustees
<br />for aid to agriculture of the Middlesex
<br />County Bureau of Agriculture and
<br />Home Economics under the provi-
<br />sions of Chapt. 273 of the Acts of
<br />1918.
<br />Art. 33. To see if the Town will
<br />vote to put one electric light at the
<br />corner of Rindge and Rawson Av-
<br />enues, or act in any manner relating
<br />thereto.
<br />Art. 34. To see if the Town will
<br />vote to accept that portion of Pelham
<br />Road at its junction with Massachu-
<br />setts Avenue as laid out by the Select-
<br />men, or act in any manner relating
<br />thereto.
<br />Art. 35. To see if the Town will
<br />vote to create a permanent Town
<br />Memorial Committee in accordance
<br />with the recommendation of the Wel-
<br />come Home Committee, or act in
<br />any manner relative thereto.
<br />Art. 36. To see if the Town will
<br />vote to require any or all Town

<br />Officers to pay all fees received by
<br />them by virtue of their office into the
<br />town treasury.
<br />Art. 37. To see if the Town will
<br />vote to accept the provisions of
<br />Section 126 of Chapter 111 of the
<br />General Laws which provides that
<br />no privy vault shall be constructed
<br />upon premises connected with a
<br />common or private sewer or abutting
<br />on a public or private street, court or
<br />passageway in which there is a com-
<br />mon sewer opposite thereto, without
<br />permission in writing having first
<br />been obtained from the Board of
<br />Health, and that if, in the opinion
<br />of said Board, a privy vault so sit-
<br />uated is injurious to the public
<br />health, it shall declare the same a
<br />nuisance and forbid its continuance;
<br />and that the Board of Health shall
<br />have the power to remove any nui-
<br />sance in accordance with the provi-
<br />sions of Sections 123, 124 and 125 of
<br />the General Laws.
<br />Art. 38. To see if the Town will
<br />authorize the Board of Health to
<br />make and enforce regulations for
<br />the public health and safety relative
<br />to house drainage and connections
<br />with common sewers in accordance
<br />with the provisions of Section 127
<br />of Chapter 111 of the General Laws.
<br />Art. 39. To see if the Town will
<br />authorize the establishment of a
<br />dental clinic in the public schools by
<br />the Board of Health and appropriate
<br />a sum for the maintenance therefore,
<br />which in the judgment of the Board of
<br />Health, may be necessary for that
<br />purpose, or take any action relative
<br />thereto.
<br />Art. 40. To see if the Town will
<br />accept the following streets: Wilson
<br />Avenue, and Cliffe Avenue from Bow
<br />Street to Melrose Avenue, or act in
<br />any manner relating thereto.
<br />Art. 41. To appropriate money
<br />for the use of the Water Department,
<br />and to provide same by issuance of
<br />Bonds, Notes or direct appropria-
<br />tions, or by any or all of such methods,
<br />or to take any other action relative
<br />thereto.
<br />Art. 42. To see if the Town will
<br />vote to acquire as a part of its water
<br />distribution system, the 8 inch main
<br />which has been laid at the expense of
<br />abuttors in Pollen Road and reim-
<br />burse them the cost of said main,
<br />to appropriate a sum of money not
<br />to exceed $11,000.00 necessary for
<br />such reimbursement, and to provide
<br />same by issuance of Bonds, Notes, or
<br />direct appropriation, or by any orall
<br />of such methods, or to take any other
<br />action relative thereto.
<br />Art. 43. To see if the Town will
<br />vote to install water mains on Car-
<br />ville Avenue from Oak Street to
<br />Butler Avenue, a distance of about
<br />nine hundred feet, on Butler Avenue
<br />from Carville Avenue to Baker Av-
<br />enue, a distance of about six hundred
<br />and sixty feet, and to provide money
<br />for the same by the issuance of Bonds,
<br />Notes or direct appropriations, or
<br />to take any other action relative there-
<br />to.
<br />Art. 44. To see if the Town will
<br />vote to sell about twenty acres of
<br />the land belonging to the Town
<br />Farm property, or act in any manner
<br />relating thereto.
