Robinson and James P. Munroe, <br />Trustees, said parcel containing 244 <br />square feet. <br />Beginning at a point at the in- <br />tersection of the northerly line of <br />Pelham Road with the westerly line <br />of Massachusetts Avenue, thence <br />southwesterly following the present <br />northerly line of Pelham Road 35.48 <br />feet to a stone bound, thence turning <br />and running northerly on a curve of <br />45.00 feet radius, (30.09 feet to a <br />point in the present westerly line of <br />Massachusetts Avenue, thence south- <br />erly by the westerly line of Massa- <br />chusetts Avenue 35.48 feet to the <br />point of Deginning. <br />The above description is intended <br />to conform to a plan entitled "Plan <br />of Pelham Road at the junction of <br />Massachusetts Avenue, Lexington, <br />January 15, 1921, Scale 1N-20', <br />J. Henry Duffy, Town Engineer," <br />on file at the office of the Town Clerk, <br />and to which reference is made for a <br />more particular description. <br />Done at Lexington this 25th day <br />of January, 1921. <br />WILLIAM 5. On motion of Hollis Web- <br />ster, it was voted, That the Moderator <br />be requested at each Town Meeting <br />to call for a report from each, com- <br />mittee of the town which has been <br />appointed at some previous meeting, <br />and which has not been discharged. <br />Reports from the following Com- <br />mittees were then called for by the <br />Moderator; <br />Committee on By Laws. Edwin <br />A. Bayley reported that the work on <br />By Laws was nearing completion, <br />and would be ready as soon as possible <br />and that the estimated cost to pub- <br />lish the By Laws and place them in <br />the hands of every voter of the town <br />would be from $400.00 to $500.00. <br />On motion of George W. Taylor <br />it was Voted, that the sum of $500.00 <br />be appropriated and assessed for <br />publishing the By Laws. <br />On a voice vote the Moderator <br />declared the motion lost at 8:48 P. <br />M. <br />This vote being doubted by seven <br />voters the Moderator called for a <br />rising vote, with the following result. <br />Yes 203. No 1, and the Moderator <br />declared the vote passed at 8:55 P. <br />M. <br />Committee to Confer with As- <br />sessors. Albert H. Burnham re- <br />porting for this Committee asked <br />that the Committee be discharged. <br />It was so voted at 8:50 P. M. <br />Committee on Collection of <br />Garbage. Lester T. Redman, Chair- <br />man of this Committee made a partial <br />report, and then asked for further <br />time. Request granted. <br />Committee on North Lexington <br />School. In the absence of the Chair - <br />.30 TOWN OF LEXINGTON <br />man, Mr. Edward P. Merriam re- <br />ported progress and asked for further <br />time. Request granted. <br />Committee on Corn Borer. <br />Robert H. Holt, reporting for this <br />committee asked that the Committee <br />be discharged. It was so voted. <br />Committee on Naming Ceme- <br />tries. The Committee's report as <br />submitted by John E. A. Mulliken, <br />Chairman. <br />The Committee appointed to con-. <br />sider names for the several Cemeteries <br />of the town would make the following <br />report and recommend the adoption <br />of same. <br />The Cemetery in the East Village, <br />though under town care is private <br />property and should be called the <br />Robbins Cemetery. <br />The Cemetery in the rear of the <br />Munroe and High Schools we would <br />suggest be called the Lexington Centre <br />Cemetery, the one in the rear of the <br />residence of Dr. J. O. Tilton, the <br />Colonial Cemetery, and the one now <br />being developed at No. Lexington <br />Westview Cemetery. <br />Amendment was offered by Edwin <br />A. Bayley that the name Munroe <br />Cemetery be substituted for Lexing- <br />ton Centre Cemetery. Accepted by <br />vote at 9:10 P. M. <br />The original motion as amended <br />was then passed and the Committee <br />was discharged at 9:13 P. M. <br />Committee on Improved Rail- <br />road Transportation. William C. <br />Stickel, Chairman, reported that <br />plans were under way for improve- <br />ment of the railroad transportation <br />when orders were received from the <br />Government for the railroads to <br />curtail work in every way possible. <br />He then asked that the Committee <br />be discharged. <br />It was so voted at 9:19 P. M. <br />Committee on Accounting. <br />Hallie C. Blake, Chairman, presented <br />and read the report of the committee <br />and on motion it was voted that the <br />report be accepted, placed on file, and <br />the Committee be discharged. <br />It was so voted, at 9:41 P. M. <br />Committee on Revision of <br />Building Laws. On motion of Jay <br />O. Richards it was voted that this <br />committee be given further time and <br />that the Moderator appoint two new <br />members in place -of Jay O. Richards <br />and Edward W. Taylor who declined <br />to serve further on the committee. <br />Vote passed at 9:50 P. M. <br />Committee appointed by the Mod- <br />erator, William R. Greeley and Robert <br />P. Clapp, who is designated as Chair- <br />man. <br />Committe on Town Form of <br />Government. Albert H. Burnham <br />reporting for this committee asked <br />for further time, which was granted. <br />Art. 41. Robert H. Holt, offered <br />the following motion, Voted, That the <br />sum of $2000.00 be appropriated for <br />such extensions of water mains as <br />the Board of the Water and Sewer <br />Commissioners may from time to <br />time deem advisable, and for the <br />purpose of raising the money so <br />appropriated, the Town Treasurer <br />
