<br />Article 13, was laid on the table at
<br />7:46 P. M.
<br />Art. 20. Voted, that the sum of
<br />$842.40 be appropriated and assessed
<br />for the payment of Pensions to Re-
<br />tired Town Veterans under the pro-
<br />visions of Chap. 447 of the Acts of
<br />1912.
<br />Art. 21. ' Voted that the sum of
<br />$4900.00 be appropriated and as-
<br />sessed for the salary and expenses of
<br />the Town Engineer, of which the
<br />sum of $2250.00 dollars is for salary.
<br />Art. 22. Voted, that the sum of
<br />$2000.00 be appropriated and assessed
<br />as a Reserve Fund, in accordance with
<br />the provisions of Chapter 645 of the
<br />Acts of 1913.
<br />Art. 23. Voted, that the sum of
<br />$250.00 be appropriated and assessed
<br />for the salary and expenses of the
<br />Milk Inspector, of which $200.00
<br />is for salary.
<br />Art. 24. Voted, that the sum of
<br />$500.00 be appropriated and assessed
<br />for the salary of the Plumbing In-
<br />spector for 1921.
<br />Art. 25. Voted, that the sum of
<br />$1200.00 be appropriated and assessed
<br />for the salary of the Inspectors of
<br />Slaughtering for 1921.
<br />Art. 26. Voted, that the sum of
<br />$867.00 be appropriated and assessed
<br />for the pension of retired members
<br />of the Police Department.
<br />Art. 29. Voted, that the sum of
<br />$350.00 be appropriated and assessed
<br />for the construction of Street Signs.
<br />Art. 30. Voted, that the sum of
<br />$2000.00 be appropriated and assessed
<br />for the general care of the Cemeteries
<br />of the Town.
<br />Art. 31. Voted, that the sum of
<br />$3600.00 be appropriated and assessed
<br />for the construction of the New
<br />Cemetery at North Lexington.
<br />On motion of Frederick L. Emery
<br />it was voted to lay this vote on the
<br />table, until some plan of construction
<br />work was presented.

<br />Art. 32. Voted, that the sum of
<br />$200.00 be appropriated and assessed
<br />for the aid of the Middlesex County
<br />Bureau of Agriculture and Home
<br />Economics to be expended by the
<br />County Trustees of said Bureau.
<br />Art. 41. Voted, that the sum of
<br />$15,000.00 be appropriated and as-
<br />sessed for Repairs to the Stand Pipe
<br />to be expended under the direction of
<br />the Board of Water and Sewer Com-
<br />missioners.
<br />On motion of Robert H. Holt
<br />further consideration of Art. 41, was
<br />laid on the table. Vote passed at
<br />8 P. M.
<br />Art. 39. On motion of Robert H.
<br />Holt, it was Voted, that the Board of
<br />Health be authorized to establish
<br />a Dental Clinic in the Public Schools,
<br />and that the sum of $600,00 be ap-
<br />propriated and assessed for the main-
<br />tenance thereof for the ensuing year.
<br />Art. 23. On motion of Jay O.
<br />Richards, it was Voted that the Clerk
<br />cast one vote for the Election of
<br />Charles R. Putnam as Director for
<br />demonstration work in Agriculture
<br />and Home Economics.
