<br />Section 5. 112 districts (double dwellings)
<br />All buildings and uses permitted under RI and the fol-
<br />lowing:
<br />1. Double dwellings. •
<br />2. Hotels and boarding houses.
<br />2. Fire and police stations.
<br />Section 6. R3 districts (two-family dwellings).
<br />All buildings and uses permitted under RI and R2, and
<br />the following:
<br />1. Two-family dwellings.
<br />Section 7. C1 districts (retail stores, offices, etc.).
<br />All buildings and uses permitted under 111, 112, 113, and
<br />the following:
<br />1. Retail stores.
<br />2. Retail trade or shop for custom work or the
<br />making of articles to be sold at retail on the premises.
<br />3. 14ianufacturing clearly incidental to a retail busi-
<br />ness lawfully conducted on the premises shall be permitted
<br />in a C1 district.
<br />4. Offices—business or professional, and banks.
<br />5. Place of business of baker, barber, blacksmith,
<br />builder, carpenter, caterer, clothes cleaner and presser, con-
<br />fectioner, contractor, decorator, dressmaker, dyer, electric.
<br />ian, florist, furrier, hair -dresser. hand laundry, manicurist,
<br />mason, milliner, newsdealer, optician, painter, paper -hang-
<br />er, photographer, plumber, printer, publisher, roofer, shoe-
<br />maker, shoe -repairer, shoe shiner, tailor, tinsmith, under-
<br />taker, upholsterer, wheelwright.
<br />6. Theatres, moving pictures shows, bowling alleys,
<br />skating rinks, billiard rooms and similar commercial amuse-
<br />ment places.
<br />7. Lumber, fuel and ice establishments.
<br />8. Gasoline and oil stations.
<br />9. Garages for storage or repairs, stables.

<br />11. ,Apartment houses.
<br />12. Telephone exchange or telegraph office.
<br />Section 8. Mi. districts (light manufacturing).- All
<br />buildings and uses permitted under R1, 112, R3, C1 and the
<br />following.
<br />Light manufacturing, employing. electricity for a mo-
<br />tive power, utilizing hand labor and or quiet machinery and
<br />processes, free from neighborhood disturbing odors and—or
<br />agencies and employing not more than twenty employees,
<br />in any single and segregated building unit.
<br />HEIGHT REGULATIONS
<br />Section 9. Residence Di'. tricts. (a) The limit of
<br />height in all residence districts shall be two and one-half
<br />stories, not to exceed thirty-five feet, except that schools,
<br />municipal buildings and hotels may contain three full stories
<br />and may go as high as forty-five feet.
<br />(b) The limitations of height in feet shall not apply
<br />to chimneys, ventilators, skylights. tanks, bulkheads pent
<br />houses, and other accessory features usually carried above
<br />roofs, nor to towers or spires of churches, and other
<br />buildings, if such features are in no way used for living
<br />purposes.
<br />Section 10. Business Districts. (a) The limit of height
<br />in business districts shall be three stories not to exceed
<br />forty-five feet.
<br />(b) The limitation of height in feet shall not apply
<br />to such features as are mentioned in (b) of Section 9, nor
<br />to water tank:1 or scenery lofts which shall be at every
<br />point 50 feet from the center line of any street and shall not
<br />cover more than 25 per cent of the area of the building.
<br />AREA REGULATIONS
<br />Section 11. In 111, R2, and 113 districts, land laid out
<br />after the adoption of this by-law shall provide not less
<br />than 5000 square feet per dwelling.
<br />Section 12. in C1 districts adjacent to 111, F2 and
<br />113 districts, no buildings shall be built, reconstructed, ex-
<br />tended or arranged so that it covets more than 75 per cent
<br />of a corner 1pt or more than 65 per cent of an interior lot.
<br />ACCESSORY USES
<br />Section 13. Accessory uses shall be on the same lot
<br />with the building of the owner and shall be such as do not
