<br />bond or note, or at such earlier date as the Treasurer and
<br />Selectmen may determine. It is also voted that a Special
<br />Building Committee, consisting of Mrs. Nina F. McLellan,
<br />George E. Briggs, John Calder, Howard S. 0. Nichols,
<br />James Stuart Smith, Howard E. Custance, and William H.
<br />Ballard, shall have full authority to construct and equip
<br />said high school building and addition to the Parker School
<br />Building as herein authorized within the sums appro-
<br />priated, said additions and remodelling to be constructed
<br />substantially in accordance with the plans recommended
<br />by the Special Committee reporting under Article 1 for
<br />the warrant of this Meeting.
<br />Art. 4. On motion of Albert H. Burnham, Chairman
<br />of the Board of Selectmen, and upon approval of the Ap-
<br />propriation Committee it was unanimously,
<br />"Voted, that the sum of $600. be transferred from the
<br />General Revenue and Surplus Account to Planning Board
<br />Account to reimburse the Planning Board for expenses in-
<br />curred in printing and circulating notices concerning pro-
<br />posed Zoning 13y -Law."
<br />Art. 5. On motion of Hallie C. Blake. after being
<br />approved by the Appropriation Committee, it was unani-
<br />mously.
<br />"Voted, that the sum of $3200. be appropriated and
<br />assessed to be expended under the direction of the Select-
<br />men for permanent construction of drives and culverts
<br />in the playground."
<br />Art. 6. On motion of Albert H. Burnham, after being
<br />approved by the Appropriation Committee, it was unani-
<br />mously, "Voted, that the Selectmen be instructed to install
<br />the necessary number of street light on Tewksbury Street
<br />and Winter Street."
<br />Art. 7. On motion of Albert H. Burnham, after being
<br />approved by the Appropriation Committee, it was unani-
<br />mously, "Voted, that the sum of $13,000. be appropriated
<br />for the construction of water mains in Simonds Road, Bert -
<br />well Road, Dexter Road and Gleason Road, a total distance
<br />of 3275 feet and in St. Margaret Avenue a distance of 600
<br />feet; the money to be raised by the issuance of bonds or
<br />notes in accordance with the law at a rate of interest not
<br />to exceed 41/2%n."
<br />Art. S. On motion of Albert H. Burnham, after being
<br />approved by the Appropriation Committee, it was unani
<br />mously, "Voted, that the sum of $5000. be appropriated fox

<br />an extension of the sewer from the manhole. near the. R. R
<br />crossing in Meriam Street to the corner of- Meriam and
<br />Stetson Streets, a distance of 776 feet and in Stetson Street
<br />375 feet, making a total distance of 1151 feet; the money
<br />to be raised by the issuance of bonds or notes in accordance
<br />with the law, any balance to be applied to construction of
<br />same in Oakland Street.
<br />Art. 9. On motion of Albert H. Burnham, after being'
<br />approved by the Appropriation Committee, it was unani-
<br />mously, "Voted, that the sum of $2500. be transferred from
<br />the general revenue and surplus account to the insurance
<br />account."
<br />Art. 10. On motion of Albert H. Burnham, after be-
<br />ing aproved by the Appropriation Committee, it was unan
<br />mously, "Voted, that the following amounts be transferred
<br />from the General Revenue and Surplus Account to the fol-
<br />lowing accounts:
<br />Inspector of Slaughtering $400.00
<br />Snow Removal 3500.00
<br />Sealer of Weights and Measures 40.00
<br />Town Clerk 100.00
<br />Board of Health 500.00
<br />Art. 12. On motion of Albert H. BurnhaM, after
<br />being approved by the Appropriation Committee, it was Un-
<br />animously, "','oted, that the sum of $491.57 balance of con-
<br />struction and equipment of Parker School be transferred to
<br />School Building Committee account."
<br />Art. 13. On motion of Albert H. Burnham, after'
<br />being approved by the Appropriaton Committee, it Was un-
<br />animously, "Voted, that the vote cf March 10, 1924, under
<br />Article 25, be rescinded in so far as it relates to the issue
<br />of note or notes. Voted, further, that the sum of $500, be
<br />appropriated and assessed for the sewer construction ac-
<br />count, and that the sum of $1547.63 be transferred from
<br />the sewer assessment fund to the sewer construction ac-
<br />count."
<br />Art. 14. On motion of Albert H. Burnham, after being
<br />approved by the Appropriation Committee, it was unani-
<br />mously, "Voted, that the sum of $500. be transferred from
<br />General Revenue and Surplus Account to One Hundred and
<br />Fiftieth Anniversary of the Battle of Lexington account."
