"Shall the Senator <br />from this district be instructed to vote <br />for legislation to regulate and license <br />the manufacture and sale of beverages <br />containing not over four per cent of al- <br />cohol by weight and to define same to be <br />non -intoxicating I" <br />The polls will be opened immediately <br />after the organization of the meeting <br />and may remain open until four o'clock <br />P. M., and as much longer as the meet- <br />ing may direct, but not later than the <br />hour prescribed by law. <br />Hereof, fail not, and make due return <br />of this Warrant, with your doings <br />thereon, to the Town Clerk, on or before <br />the time of said meeting. <br />Given under our hands, at Lexington, <br />this twenty-first day of October, A. FOSTER, <br />Selectmen of Lexington. <br />STATE ELECTION <br />November 4, 1919 <br />The Meeting was called to order by <br />the Chairman of the Selectmen at six <br />o'clock A. M. The Warrant and Return <br />thereon were read by the Town Clerk. <br />James A. Hurley and Charles G. Kauff- <br />man were sworn as Ballot Clerks and <br />Ralph H. Marshall and John J. Garrity <br />as Deputy Ballot Clerks. <br />Walter B. Wilkins, Fred E. Butters, <br />Bartlett J. Harrington, William C. <br />O'Leary, Allston M. Redman, Patrick <br />F. Dacey, Samuel B. Bigelow, Thomas J. <br />Doherty, William E. Mulliken, Nathaniel <br />Nunn, Willard E. Wormwood, Edward <br />M. Tupper and Robert H. Holt were <br />sworn as Tellers. <br />At 10.40 A. M. the ballot box was <br />opened and 550 ballots were taken out. <br />At 12.00 noon, the ballot box was opened <br />and 150 baIlota were taken out. At 1.00 <br />P. M. 150 ballots were taken out. <br />At 2.27 P. M. on motion of Arthur W. <br />Hatch, it was voted that the polls be <br />kept open until live o'clock. <br />At 3.30 P. M. 150 Ballots were taken <br />from the box and at 4.30 P. M. 50 bal- <br />lots were taken out. <br />At 4.52 P. M. on motion of Arthur W. <br />Hatch, it was voted that the polls be <br />kept open until 5.45 P. M. <br />At 5.45 P. M. the polls were declared <br />closed and 19 ballots were taken out. <br />The Ballot Box registered 1069 and <br />that number of names were cheeked on <br />each voting list. <br />At 6.30 P.
