The large increase in the State and County tax, together with the sewer tax which the past year was $4210.15, making a total of $39,761.00, a privilege which, up to the present time, the town has received no benefit, is in a measure accountable for the advance- ment of the tax rate, as well as the increased amount of work to be done in each department.
