To see if the town will vote to appropriate the sum of <br />thirteen hundred {$1300.00) dollars, for the support of schools on <br />account of expense caused by new school in Emerson Hall, and <br />special repairs on High School Building, or do anything in relation <br />to the same. <br />ART. $. To see if the town will purchase a lot of land located in <br />the rear of the Follen Church property and land owned by the town <br />on which the Stone Building now stands, together with a lot of land <br />and building thereon, located between the Stone Building and pro- <br />perty of Mary W. Austin, also a triangular lot owned by Ellen A. <br />Stone adjoining, for the purpose of erecting thereon a grammar <br />school building and for play ground purposes; to provide means to <br />pay for the same, or take any action relating thereto. <br />ART. 7. To see if the town will vote to make a further appro- <br />priation for the expenses of the Board of Health, or act in any <br />manner relating thereto. <br />ART. 8. To see if the town will appropriate or set aside any ad- <br />ditional sum or sums of money for the Fire Department of the town, <br />or act in any manner in relation to any further appropriation for <br />said department. <br />ART. 9. To see if the town will vote to purchase a parcel of land <br />containing 34i acres more or less, for cemetery purposes, located <br />on Bedford street and known as the Stillman Kendall farm, to make <br />an appropriation for the same, or take any action in relation thereto. <br />Hereof, fail not, and make due return of this Warrant with your <br />doings thereon, to the Town Clerk, on or before the time of said <br />meeting. <br />Given under our hands, at Lexington, this seventh day of October, <br />A.
