The election officers will receive votes for the above offices all on <br />the official ballots prepared by the Secretary of the Commonwealth. <br />The polls will be opened immediately after the organization of <br />the meeting, and will be kept open until 9 p. m. <br />Hereof fail not, and make due return of this Warrant, with your <br />doings thereon, to the Town Clerk on or before the time of said <br />meeting. <br />Given under our hands, at Lexington, this thirteenth day of <br />September, A, 1)., 1911. <br />FRANK D. SWAN, <br />Town Clerk. <br />89 <br />STATE PRIMARY <br />September 26, 1911 <br />The meeting was called to order at five o'clock p. m. by the Town <br />Clerk, who read the Warrant and the return of the Constable thereon. <br />Abram B. Smith and Frederick G. Jones, having been appointed <br />ballot clerks, were sworn by the Town Clerk, and receipted to him <br />for a package said to contain 1050 Republican ballots, for one said <br />to contain 1050 Democratic ballots, and also for one said to contain <br />500 Democratic Progressive ballots. <br />The ballot box was shown to be empty, then locked and the key <br />delivered to Constable William B. Foster, and the polls declared <br />open by the chairman of the Board of Selectmen. <br />Samuel B. Bigelow, Allston M. Redman, William J. Riley, G. <br />Irving Tuttle, George L. Pierce, Nathaniel Nunn, William L. Moak- <br />ley and Patrick F. Dacey, having been appointed tellers, were sworn <br />by the Town Clerk. <br />At the close of the polls at nine o'clock 366 Republican ballots <br />and 30 Democratic ballots were taken from the box, making a total <br />of 396 votes, which agreed with the register on the ballot box and <br />also with the number of names checked on the voting lists. <br />No Democratic Progressive ballots were cast. <br />After the Tellers had completed their work the Town Clerk <br />announced the results as follows: <br />REPUBLICAN PARTY <br />GOVERNOR <br />Louis A.
