ARTICLE 1. To choose a Moderator to preside in said meeting. <br />ART. 2. To hear and act upon the report of any committee ready <br />to report, or appoint any committees. <br />ART. 3. To see if the town will make provision to meet the <br />deficiency in the amount provided for insurance on the property of <br />the town, or act in any manner relating thereto. <br />ART. 4. To authorize the borrowing of money for use of the <br />Board of Water and Sewer Commissioners in extending water mains <br />and meetini, other charges of the Water Department, and to that <br />end to authorize and provide for the issue and sale of negotiable, <br />interest bearing bonds of the town; and to take any other or further <br />action relative to the raising of money for said purposes or to the <br />issue of bonds or notes therefor. <br />ART. 5. To see if the town will vote to take in fee as provided <br />by Sections 47, 48 and 49 of Chapter 25 of the Revised Laws and <br />Acts in amendment thereof and in addition thereto, any land within <br />the limits of said town not appropriated to public use and not ex- <br />ceeding two acres in area for the purpose of erecting thereon a <br />building to be used for a public school, or act in any manner relat- <br />ing thereto. <br />ART. 6. To see if the town will vote to take in fee as provided <br />by Sections 47, 48 and 49 of Chapter 25 of the Revised Laws and <br />Acts in amendment thereof and in addition thereto, a parcel of land <br />not exceeding two acres in area belonging to Ellen A. Stone and <br />situated in that part of Lexington known as East Lexington and in <br />the rear and easterly of the land belonging to the Follen Church <br />and the land of the town on which the Stone Building now stands, <br />for the purpose of erecting thereon a building to be used for a <br />public school, or act in any manner relating thereto. <br />ART. 7. To see if the town will vote to appropriate an amount <br />of money equal to the estimated cost of a parcel of land about two <br />acres in area situated in that part of Lexington known as East Lex - <br />61 <br />ington, between the parcel of land mentioned in the next proceed- <br />ing article and the location of the Boston & Maine Railroad, or any <br />other land within the limits of the town. Same to be used and <br />maintained as a public play ground, or act in any manner relating <br />thereto. <br />ART. 8. To see if the town will vote to take in fee as provided <br />by Sections 19, 20, 21 and 22 of Chapter 28 of the Revised Laws <br />and Acts in amendment thereof and in addition thereto, any land <br />within the limits of the town and maintain the same as a public play- <br />ground, or act in any manner relating thereto. <br />ART. 9. To see if the town will vote to take in fee as provided <br />by Sections 19, 20, 21 and 22 of Chapter 28 of the Revised Laws <br />and Acts in amendment thereof and in addition thereto, a parcel of <br />land about two acres in area belonging to Ellen A. Stone and situated <br />in that part of Lexington known as East Lexington, between the <br />parcel of land mentioned in Article Three and the location of the <br />Boston & Maine Railroad. The same to be used and maintained as <br />a public playground, or act in any manner relating thereto. <br />Hereof fail not, and make due return of this Warrant, with your <br />doings thereon, to the Town Clerk on or before the time of said <br />meeting. <br />Given under our hands, at Lexington, this fifth day of September, <br />A.
