WHEELER, Constable of Lexington, GREETING : <br />In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts you are <br />hereby required to notify and warn the inhabitants of the Town of <br />Lexington, qualified by law to vote in Town affairs, to assemble at <br />the Town Hall, on Thursday, the Twenty-second day of October, <br />A. D., 1908, at 7.30 o'clock P. M., to act on the following <br />Articles, viz :— <br />ARTICLE 1. To choose a Moderator to preside at said meeting. <br />ARr. 2. To see what action the town will take with reference to <br />authorizing or providing for extensions of water mains, whether to <br />the new Hayden place on Shade Street, Windemere Farm, or else- <br />where. <br />ART. 3. To appropriate and provide for the raising of moneys to <br />defray the cost of extending water mains or constructing new ones; <br />and to authorize the borrowing of money for such purposes on the <br />note or notes of the town. <br />ART. 4. To see if the town will vote to extend its water mains <br />to a point on Middle street opposite land of Alice B. Cary, and <br />across said land of Cary to Shade street, an the condition that a loca- <br />tion across said land of Cary shall be granted without expense to <br />the town, and on the further condition that seven per cent. interest <br />shall be guaranteed to the town for six years, and appropriate money <br />therefor. - <br />ART. 5. To see if the town will locate and establish a hydrant on <br />its water main, if extended as provided in article four, near the <br />buildings of Alice B. Cary. <br />ART. 6. To see if the town will vote to borrow three thousand <br />dollars or any sum for the purpose of extending its water mains as <br />provided in article four, or act in any manner relating thereto. <br />1 <br />
