<br />ART. 17. Voted, That the sum of $200.00 be appropriated and
<br />assessed for a school physician, as required by the Public Statutes.
<br />ART. 20. Voted, That the sum of $250.00 be appropriated and
<br />assessed for the purpose of painting and repairing the Stone building.
<br />ART. 21. Voted, That Article 21 be indefinitely postponed.
<br />ARTS. 23, 24, 25. On motion of Frederick L. Emery it was

<br />ART. 6. Under this article the following officers were elected

<br />ART. 4. Voted, That the sum of $2,100.00 be appropriated and
<br />assessed, $1,500.00 for meeting the expense of general repairs to
<br />the outside of the Town Hall building, and $600.00 for new sheds
<br />in the rear of the Town Hall as recommended by the Selectmen.
<br />ART. 4. The committee appointed Apr. 2, 1906, to investigate
<br />the feasibility of establishing skating facilities in the town made the
<br />following report :
<br />"Your committee visited all places within one-quarter mile of the
<br />centre of the town, and found but one suitable, namely, land owned
<br />by F. H. Holmes, A. E. Scott and others in rear of Massachusetts
<br />avenue and Waltham street, Owing to objections made by one of
<br />the owners of this land to the scheme, we are obliged therefor to
<br />report that no location is available."

<br />ART. 4. On the recommendation of the Finance Committee the
<br />following vole was passed :
<br />Voted, That the Moderator appoint a Finance Committee of
<br />twenty-one members, to include the Moderator of this meeting, the
<br />Chairman of the Board of Selectmen and the Town Treasurer. Said
<br />committee to consider from time to time during the year the finan-
<br />cial affairs of the town and make report at the annual town meeting
<br />in March, 1909, or as called upon, the appropriations for the year
<br />1909, as well as other matters, having a bearing upon the finances
<br />of the town. The Moderator appointed the following committee :

<br />Voted, That no appropriation be made for the observance of
<br />April 19th, but that the Selectmen be requested to hire the Drum
<br />Corps, the expense of the same to be paid from the fees received
<br />for licenses granted for April 19th.
<br />Voted, That the balances of $150.00 in "Steam Roller Account"
<br />and $4.50 in "New Hose Account" be transferred to "Contingent
<br />Account," and that the overdrafts of $96.68 in "Grant Street
<br />Account" and $25.00 in "Steam Boiler Account" be charged to
<br />"Contingent Account."
<br />Voted, To dissolve the meeting at 9.40 o'clock p. ns.
