19 <br />ART. 5. To choose such town officers as are required by law and <br />are usually chosen by nomination. <br />ART. 6. To see if the town will accept the list of Jurors pre- <br />pared and posted by the Selectmen as prepared by law. <br />ART. 7. To see if the town will make an appropriation for the <br />proper observance of Memorial Day, to be expended under the <br />direction of Post 119, Grand Army of the Republic. <br />ART. u. •i•o provide for the support of the Public Schools for <br />the ensuing year, and grant money for the same. <br />ART. J. To provtde for the support of the poor at the Poor <br />Faun the ensuing year, and grant money for the same. <br />ART. 10. '1'o provide for the support of outside poor, the en- <br />siling year, and grant money for the same. <br />ART. 11. To provide tor the support of the Highways the en- <br />suing year, and grant money for the same. <br />ART. 12. To provide for the support of Street Lights the ensu- <br />ing year, and grant money for the same. <br />ART. 13. To provide for the support of the Fire Department <br />the ensuing year, and grant money for the same. <br />ART. 14. To see if the town will make the appropriations for <br />town expenses the ensuing year, as submitted by the Selectmen, or <br />act in any manner relating thereto. <br />ART. 15. "i'o see if the town will authorize" their treasurer, under <br />the direction of the selectmen, to borrow money for any necessary <br />purpose, in anticipation of the collection of taxes, the current year, <br />the same to be repaid directly from the proceeds of said taxes, or <br />art in any manner relating thereto. <br />20 <br />ART. 16. To see what measures the town will adopt in relation to <br />the collection of taxes the ensuing year, or act in any manner re- <br />lating thereto. <br />ART. 17. To see if the town will make an appropriation to con- <br />struct sidewalks with concrete or whet materials where the abutters <br />will pay one-half the expense thereof. <br />Arty. 1S. To see is the town will appropriate the sum of $200.00 <br />for a School Physician, as required under Chap. 502, Sec. 1, Acts <br />of 1906. <br />ART. 19. •]'o • see if the town will reimburse W. W. Rowse the <br />sum of $34.40 expended by him in consequence of a change made <br />by the town in the grade of Winthrop Road. <br />ART. 20. Tu see if the town will appropriate the sum of $460.00 <br />to purchase new hose for the Fire Department. <br />ART. 21. •1•o see if the town will vote to sell all or any part or <br />parts of the real estate which it acquired from the Lexington Water <br />Company ; to authorize the Selectmen for the time being, to sell <br />and convey such real estate in one parcel or in parcels from time to <br />time; and to take any other or further action relative to the sale or <br />disposition of said real estate, or any property formerly connecters <br />with the local water works system, including the land embracing the <br />reservoir near Middle Street, or act in any manner relating thereto. <br />ART. 22. To see if the town will request the Highway Surveyors <br />to change the sidewalk on Waltham Street at Peabody's and others, <br />to the street line, or act in any manner relating thereto. <br />ART. 23. To see if the town will accept from members of the <br />Association of Nathaniel Bowman's Descendants, the gift of a <br />drinking fountain for man and beast, to be located at the corner of <br />Mass. Avenue and Pleasant Street, the design to be submitted for <br />approval to the Selectmen, or act in any manner relating thereto. <br />
