31 <br />increasing expenses for their suppression, resolved, that the Senator <br />and Representative from this district be urgently requested to advo- <br />cate and vote for the most liberal appropriation by the Legislature <br />to aid in their destruction, and that the Town Clerk be requested to <br />send each of them a copy of this vote." <br />Voted, To adjourn the 'fleeting for four weeks. <br />Meeting adjourned at 8.45 o'clock. <br />ADJOURNED MEETING APRIL 30, 1906. <br />Meeting called to order by the Moderator at 7.45 o'clock. <br />George W. Taylor, for the committee on investigating the Water <br />Department, said the committee was not ready to report and was <br />granted further time. <br />The committee appointed to ascertain the boundary line between <br />the cemetery and the Boston & Maine R. R. made a verbal report, <br />and Edward P. Nichols made the following motion : <br />"That the sum of $200.00 be appropriated and assessed for the <br />purpose of building a fence at the cemetery, in accordance with the <br />report of the committee." <br />The Moderator declined to put the motion on the ground that <br />Article 14, under which this committee was appointed, was closed. <br />Voted, To adjourn the meeting to May 21 at 7.30 o'clock p. m. <br />Meeting adjourned at 8 o'clock. <br />32 <br />ADJOURNED MEETING MAY 21, 1906. <br />Meeting called to order by the Moderator at 7.40 o'clock. <br />ARTICLE 4. The committee appointed to investigate the Water <br />Department made the following report (see reports of committees), <br />and on motion of Robert P. Clapp it was voted that the report be <br />received as a report of progress. <br />On motion of Robert P. Clapp it was <br />Voted, That the recommendations contained in the report and <br />numbered one to seven, inclusive, except as to street watering, are <br />hereby severally adopted ; that the Water Commissioners are in- <br />structed to carry into effect recommendations numbered one to five <br />inclusive; and that they issue a new circular showing the water rates <br />and terms of payment as hereby established, and embodying also <br />such revised rules and regulations as to them shall seem best, they <br />being hereby requested to advise with said committee in making the <br />revision. <br />On motion of Henry H. Putnam it was <br />Voted, That the Selectmen carry out as soon as may be recom- <br />mendation No. 6 of the Committee's report. <br />On motion of Charles Garrison it was <br />Voted, That the Committee is hereby instructed to cause to be <br />prepared, agreeably to the provisions contained in recommendation <br />No. 7 of the report, such data, plans and maps as in its judgment <br />may be suitable, the cost of the work, which shall not exceed <br />$300.00, to be paid from the contingent grant. <br />On motion of George D. Milne it was <br />Voted, That the Committee ishereby requested to prepare a <br />revised draft of the town's By -Laws so far as the same appertain to <br />
