15 <br />ART. 7. To see if the town will make an appropriation for she <br />proper observance of Memorial Day, to be expended under the <br />direction of Post 119, Grand Army of the Republic. <br />ART. 8. To provide for the support of the public schools the <br />ensuing year, and grant money for the same. <br />ART. 9. To provide for the support of the poor at the Poor <br />Farm the ensuing year, and grant money for the same. <br />ART. 10. To provide for the support of outside poor the ensuing <br />year, and grant money for the same. <br />ART. 11. To provide for the support of the highways the ensuing <br />year, and grant money for the same. <br />ART. 12. To provide for the support of the street lights the en- <br />suing year, and grant money for the same. <br />ART. 13. To provide for the support of the Fire Department the <br />ensuing year, and grant money for the same. <br />ART. 14. To see if the town will make the appropriations for <br />town expenses the ensuing year, as submitted by the Selectmen, or <br />act in any manner relating thereto. <br />AR.r. 15. To see if the town will authorize their Treasurer, under <br />the direction of the Selectmen, to borrow money for any necessary <br />purpose, in anticipation of the collection of taxes the current year, <br />the same to be repaid directly from the proceeds of said taxes, or <br />act in any manner relating thereto. <br />ART. 16. To see what measures the town will adopt in relation <br />to the collection of taxes the ensuing year, or act in any manner <br />relating thereto. <br />16 <br />ART. 17. To see if the town will make an appropriation to con- <br />struct sidewalks with concrete or other materials where the abutters <br />will pay one-half the expense thereof. <br />ART. 18. To see if the town will vote to issue bonds to the <br />amount of ten thousand dollars under the authority and provisions of <br />Chapter one hundred and sixty (160) of the Acts of 1896, for the <br />purpose of refunding an equal amount of bonds of the town denomi- <br />nated "Lexington Water Bonds," which become due Nov. 1, 1905, <br />or act in any manner relating thereto. <br />ART. 19. To see if the town will make an appropriation to pur- <br />chase four fire alarm boxes, to be located by the Engineers of the <br />Fire Department, or act in any manner relating thereto. <br />ART. 20. To see if the town will make an appropriation to repair <br />Town Hall, Village Hall and Stone building, or act in any manner <br />relating thereto. <br />ART. 21. To see if the town will make an appropriation to build <br />Grant street from Massachusetts avenue to Sherman street, or act in <br />any manner relating thereto. <br />ART. 22. To see if the town will make an appropriation to con- <br />struct drains to carry off the surface water from the highways, or act <br />in any manner relating thereto. <br />ART. 23. To see if the town will authorize the Selectmen to sell <br />the land on Concord avenue, formerly occupied by the Franklin <br />School building, also the land now occupied by the '1'idd School <br />building on Hancock street; also the land now occupied by the <br />Howard School building on the corner of Woburn and LoweIl <br />streets, or act in any manner relating thereto. <br />ART. 24. To see if the town will consider the purchase of a strip <br />of land in the rear of the new Primary School building on Massa_ <br />
