29 <br />Woburn street, the Company shall from time to time, as such <br />macadamizing is done by the town, macadamize in a corcespondiug <br />manner the space between the adjacent tracks and for a distance of <br />eighteen inches additional on the street side of the tracks." <br />It is hereby specially provided that track shall be laid on the ex- <br />tended location hereby granted only as fast as, and to the extent <br />that, the Railway Company, at its own cost and expense, shall have <br />caused the street to be widened so as to make such portion or por- <br />tions thereof fifty (50) feet wide, with twenty-eight (28) feet in <br />width thereof constructed so as to be safe and convenient for the <br />passage of teams; the form and manner of constmction to be the <br />same as was provided in an order of the County Commissioners, <br />dated April 16, 1898, and said construction to be done by and at <br />the expense of the Railway Company. <br />Lexington, February 7th, 1901. <br />EDWIN S. SAVILLF, <br />Town Clerk of Lexington. <br />30 <br />To the t]onorahle the Selectmen of Lexington. <br />At a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Lexington and <br />Boston Street Railway Company, held this 21st day of February, <br />1901, votes were unanimously passed as follows, viz : <br />Voted, That the location granted by the Selectmen of Lexington, <br />by an order dated February lth, 1901, for the extension of the <br />tracks of this Company in said town on Woburn street from Lowell <br />street to the boundary line between Lexington and Woburn, be and <br />the same is hereby accepted. <br />Voted, That a writing to be signed by a majority of the Directors <br />of this Company, embodying the terms of these votes, be Filed forth- <br />with with said Selectmen. <br />Accordingly the undersigned, being a majority of the Directors <br />do hereby attest and acknowledge the acceptance of said location, <br />and of the terms, conditions and obligations in said order contained. <br />February 21, 1901. <br />ALFRED PIERCE, <br />WILLIAM F.
