<br />TUESDAY, NovEmBER 8, 1898.
<br />To WILLIAM B. FOSTER, Constable of Lexington, GREETING :
<br />In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are
<br />hereby required to notify and warn the inhabitants of the town.
<br />of Lexington, qualified by law to vote in State, District and.
<br />County affairs, to assemble at the Town Hall, on Tuesday, the
<br />eighth day of November, A. D. 1898, at six o'cleck A. M., to
<br />cast their ballots for the following State, District and County
<br />officers, namely : —
<br />Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Secretary, Treasurer, Audi --
<br />tor, Attorney -General, Councillor for Sixth District, District
<br />Attorney for Northern Middlesex District, Senator for Fifth

<br />Middlesex District, Register of Probate and Insolvency, Sheriff,
<br />Representative in Fifty -Sixth Congress for Fourth Congres-
<br />sional District, Representative in General Court for Thirteenth
<br />Middlesex District, County Commissioner, Two Special County
<br />Commissioners.
<br />The election officers will receive votes for the above on the
<br />official ballot prepared by the Secretary of the Commonwealth.
<br />The polls will be opened immediately after the organization
<br />of the meeting and will be kept open until four o'clock P. M.
<br />and as much longer as the meeting may direct, not to extend be-
<br />yond sunset. Ilereof fail not and make due return of this war-
<br />rant with your doings thereon to the Town Clerk on or before
<br />the time of said meeting.
<br />Given under our hands at Lexington this twentieth day of

<br />Pursuant to the foregoing warrant I have notified the in-
<br />habitants of the town of Lexington by posting a duly at-
<br />tested copy of the warrant in the postoffices and otherWpublic
<br />places in each village, and by mailing a duly attested copy
<br />of the warrant to every registered voter in the town, seven
<br />days before the time of said meeting.
