Voted, That the sum of two thousand <br />dollars be appropriated for the support of the poor <br />the ensuing year. <br />12 <br />ART. 6. Voted, That the sum of seven thousand <br />five hundred dollars be appropriated for the support <br />of the highways for the ensuing year, and that thirty- <br />five hundred dollars be taken from money in the <br />treasury, and that four thousand dollars be assessed <br />the present year. <br />ART. 7. Voted, That the- sum of eleven thousand <br />five hundred dollars be appropriated for the support <br />of the public schools the ensuing year, and that fif- <br />teen hundred dollars be taken from any unexpended <br />money in the treasury, and that ten thousand dollars <br />be assessed the present year. <br />ART. 8. "Voted, That the sum of nine hundred <br />and fifty dollars be appropriated for the support of <br />the Fire Department for the ensuing year. <br />Voted, That the members of the Fire Department <br />be increased from forty to fifty, and that the sum of <br />one hundred and fifty dollars be appropriated to pay <br />for services of such additional members. <br />ART. 9. Voted, That the sum of two thousand <br />dollars be appropriated for support of the street <br />lamps for the ensuing year. <br />ART. 10. The list of jurors presented by the <br />Selectmen was amended by striking from the list the <br />names of Walter Blodgett and George G. Fuller, <br />they having been drawn since the list was posted; <br />and <br />Voted, That Francis E. Ballard, John T. Demar, <br />Herbert G. Locke, and Cornelius Wellington be <br />excused from serving, at their own request. <br />Voted, That the jury list as amended be accepted <br />by the town. <br />
